I've lived in Ashland 30 years and as a current Bellview Elementary and Ashland Middle school parent, I see the incredible impact our schools have on our community.

Our school district faces challenges including declining enrollment and shrinking budgets. I bring 25 years of business management, strategic planning, and budgeting expertise to the board.  

I will focus on:

• Increased Enrollment: Strengthening academic programs, implementing a Pre-K program, expanding career and technical education, and ensuring our schools are places where every student feels engaged and supported

• Strategic Fiscal Approach: Applying my strategic expertise to assure financial plans are monitored and refined over time to achieve goals. If we're borrowing money, we need to apply best-practices to strategically managing those funds to keep the district sustainable.  Transparency in financial decisions, prioritizing classroom funding, and making strategic investments 

• ​​Inclusivity: commitment to making sure every child, regardless of background, ability, or circumstance, has the opportunity to succeed. This means supporting diverse learning needs, fostering a culture of belonging, and listening to the voices of parents, teachers, and students alike.
